Our organization is made up of 100% volunteers from across the nation and all walks of life. Some of our ranks are veterans. Some are retired professionals. Some are doctors and lawyers. Some of us ride motorcycles while the rest drive their cars and trucks. You don't need to be a veteran. You don't need to ride a bike. You just need to respect what our veterans and first responders have done for us.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protesters. We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
The Flag Line is our most sacred symbol and represents the essence of our core values as Patriot Guard Riders. Honor, appreciation and respect. When invited we place American Flags outside the funeral home and around the burial site of the heroes we are honoring.
Our Riders stand beside each flag in silent honor.
The Patriot Guard Riders is a 100% Volunteer, Federally registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are honored to provide our services FREE of charge to all those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security including Fallen Military Heroes, First Responders and honorably discharged Veterans.
