The family of John V. Smith Jr. has asked the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders to honor his service to our country by standing a flag line at his funeral, then to ride in a procession and again stand at his interment service.
The PGR will stage at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church. Flags will be set, riders will be given the mission brief, establish a flag line and prepare to receive the family and friends of First Responder Smith.
Once the service begins, the flags will be furled, and the riders will return them to the support vehicle. PGR Riders that stay to ride in procession will be given a safety briefing, prior to leaving for the Cemetery.
