The family invited us to stand a flag line at the funeral service, participate in the procession from the church to DFW National Cemetery and to stand a flag line there for the committal service.

Details:

 

Riders will stage at the church to be briefed and to stand tall and silent as family and friends arrive. After the service begins, flags will be returned to the support vehicle. Riders will then receive a safety briefing, honor bikes will be selected and all riders staged for the procession to DFW National Cemetery. Upon arrival at the DFW Information Center, honor bikes will turn into Lane 1 while the remaining riders proceed to Shelter A to help set the flags and await the arrival of the procession.

As the distance to the cemetery is short with only one right turn at Mountain Creek, we will not require an escort.

Details:

 

Riders not participating in the procession will stage at the DFW National Cemetery Visitors Center to be briefed to then proceed to Shelter A, set flags and await the arrival of the procession. Riders will stand tall and silent during the committal service, after which flags will be returned to the storage locker and riders will be debriefed and dismissed.
