Part 1 Details 

Riders will stage at the funeral home to be briefed about our hero and participate in a safety briefing. Honor bikes will be selected to enter the staging lanes when arriving at DFW. The remaining riders in the procession will continue on to the assigned committal shelter to join other riders and await the procession led by the DFW National Cemetery representative. Part One is a procession only, there is no flag line for this part.

Part 2 Details 

The PGR will stage at the Information Center at DFW National Cemetery. After the briefing, riders will proceed to the assigned Committal Shelter, set the flags and await the arrival of the procession. Riders will stand tall and silent during the inurnment service. After the service, the flags will be returned to the storage locker and riders will be debriefed and dismissed.

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession. 

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic. 

High Temperatures

It's every RIDER'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to hydrate prior to attending a mission. 

Begin drinking water the night before.  Drink water when you wake up and continue drinking water all day to ensure your body stays hydrated.
